The SAMAHAN NG TSUPER AT OPERATOR NG PILIPINAS GENUINE ORGANIZATION or STOP AND GO TRANSPORT COALITION was initially conceptualized in the hope of finding solutions to several identified problems besetting the public utility transport in general and the concerns of the common Pinoy Public Utility Driver specifically. Identified problems ranging from health coverage issues, job security, housing, life insurance, excessive fines and penalties, non responsive representation and other concerns that get complex as the times goes by. The group also envisioned the very noble idea of peaceful co-existence amongst the different modes of transport plying the streets not only the greater Manila area but throughout the Philippines. We recognized the fact and important of a group that would truly represent the ideals and interests of the Fx/Auv, Jeepney, Taxi and the Tricycle Sector. A group that would truly dedicate themselves to walking the walk, shouting the shout and fighting the fight for the millions of underrepresented, daily abused, unprotected common Pinoy Driver.

With these issues and problems as glaring as the midday sun, leaders from all concerned modes of transport groups decided to unite and pick up the gargantuan with a noble cause of representing the marginalized sector of all Filipinos who use the streets as their main office to courteously bring passengers to and from their different destinations. As a concern civic minded citizen, Mr. Jun Magno founded the STOP & GO TRANSPORT COALITION to battle on the daily outcry of the Public Utility Transport Group in the Philippines

Composed primarily of untiring, dedicated, responsible and nationalistic individuals is by making its way felt to spearhead different programs to uplift the status of the Pinoy driver. Headed by its visionary and nationalist MR. PASCUAL “JUN” MAGNO from the fx/auv sector as its PRESIDENT, and assisted by a core of untiring, equally talented visionaries MR. GERMIL “GERRY” PERRIT VICE PRESIDENT from the tricycle sector, MR. FRANCISCO “ PAQUITO” GALURA, as its SECRETARY GENERAL representing the Jeepney Sector, MR. ANTHONY “TON” INOPIQUEZ ASSISTANT SECTARY GENERAL from fx/auv sector, MR. RAMON “BROD MON” ORATE, TREASURER from the fx/auv sector and complimented by a core of unrelenting, responsive and equally talented BOARD OF DIRECTORS; MR. RAMON JOSUE from the Jeepney Sector, MR. SATURNINO ”DODONG“ RASONABE from the taxi sector, MR. JESSNAR “JESS” REYES from the fx/auv sector, MR. JOSEPHINE “BENG” GERONES from the tricycle sector, MR. MENGIE VACAL from the fx/auv sector, MR. ZALDY PING-AY from the Jeepney Sector, MR. JESUS “DO” ADORNA from the tricycle sector,  and MR. ROMEO “ROMY” CAMAYA from the Jeepney Sector.

In keeping up with the challenges, the group modestly embarked on several priority projects aimed and directed at promoting the status of the tireless workhorse that is the Filipino Public Utility Driver. The group held several talks with the concerned national government agencies with regards to the possibility of availing of soft loan packages by the Pinoy Tsuper through the PROGRAM OF THE PRESIDENT BEING IMPLEMENTED BY THE DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION AND COMMUNICATION KNOWN AS THE LIVELIHHOD PROGRAM FOR THE WIVES OF CONDUCTORS AND PUBLIC UTILITY DRIVERS. The group untiringly and relentlessly manifested that the Public Utility Driver coming from the tricycle sector be included in the above-mentioned program as they are also part of the PUBLIC UTILTY DRIVER SECTOR. It is through series of communications, official letters and gesture to seek the government approval to address the various concern of Public Utility Sector. In order to meet with the needs of its members, the transport coalition had a formal dialogue with the relevant government department to meet the necessary requirements of the Public Utility Group. The assurance is, no matter what the odds are, together… we must unite as one voice for the Public Utility Transport Group.

Simultaneously the group initiated exploratory talks with the SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM about the possibility of making social security coverage mandatory for all Public Utility Drivers. No less than our very own MR. PASCUAL “JUN” MAGNO JR. AND SEC. ROMULO NERI OF THE SOCIAL SECURITY SYSTEM spearheaded the talks that could possibly pave way for the long sought and long overdue proper coverage of millions of Public Utility Drivers. Long overdue, long sought, very disturbing descriptions for the sorry state that the Pinoy Tsuper is now in, the commitment is….. No matter how insignificant we are, our Road to Victory must prevail.

There are a lot of projects and activities the group is poised to do and is presently doing. Projects agreed upon that would relate to direct benefits and reprieve for the abused and marginalized Pinoy Tsuper. Abusive measures will be questioned and unrelentingly fought against; protection for the driver will always be on our agenda, proper representation will always be the forefront of our unending vow to be of service to all, feel safe and proud to be TSUPERPINOY! AS ONE PEOPLE AND ONE NATION! WE ARE COMMITTED TO OUR CAUSE OF PROVIDING A BETTER FUTURE FOR ALL COMMON FILIPINO PEOPLE ………………
